Goal aside,Diaby has been shocking

Disagree. Lovely pass for the offside goal and he's been finding space no problem.

It's good we're in the lead but we're way too conservative against a team missing half their first choices. Hopefully we aren't just content to sit on this as it will get edgy in the later stages. When we pass quicker we pick Wolves apart no problem.

The goal was simply a blast that the keeper should have done more.
He had time to place it rather than blast it.

Moussa this season is what Bailey was last season.

He’ll be much improved next season. There is some great promise there… he just needs to get used to the league

Agreed. He has so much talent. Just waiting for him to get realy comfortable.

Absolutely, would be concentrating on getting him used to the need to move the ball on quickly in the summer. He gets caught on the ball a hell of a lot.

Can't decide on Rogers.

He knows the positions he needs to be in when receiving the ball but has very little idea of how to pass it.

Even the mazy run where half their team were tugging him back he should've released it to Bailey right at the start after turning.

Don't really think we can risk this formation v Man. City.

We’ve been pretty poor. We’re in front from a nicely worked set piece but we can’t allow Wolves to dominate midfield and the left flank like they have.

Wonder if that was a Nanny McPhee special?

Flood the edge of the box, chip it in away from the keeper, pulling all of their defenders towards the 6yd line and eliciting a defensive backwards header and we've got players moving into the box for the second ball.

Gotta say if I were Wolves I'd be pissed off no end with how that goal was defended,  both on the line and with the amount of space we had in the shot

Please, please Villa, avoid our usual 45-58 minute sleepwalk.
