Spurs will almost certainly be above us at the start of this game, and with Citeh away next there’s loads of pressure. Hope we are ready to rise to it.

Unai Emery's programme notes: "I don't like the word pressure. Pressure is what the teams feel to avoid relegation or even, in everyday life, the real pressure is what every family feels to get income to raise a family. We don't have pressure. We have an opportunity

This should be written on a wall somewhere famous.

Biggest game of the season so far and absolutely will let us know if we have the chops for the CL. This is the sort of game we would be looking at winning in any case. I think we will, a hard fought 3-1 I'm saying

I agree that it's massive. I fear we'll bottle it.

Me too. But I'm so conditioned to thinking that, I'd probably still think it if we were joint owned by every petro-fascist in the world and had a squad worth a gazillion quid.

Even if, with that squad, we’d already mathematically won the league, I’d still be worried we’d somehow fuck it up.

I can't watch a re-run of the 1982 European Cup Final, for fear that Bayern will score a late equaliser and take the game into ET.
