Or we could hang on to Dendonker for another year.

Just off to put my tin hat on.

Tin foil?

Think we will be ok with McGinn Tielemans Barkley covering the 2 in midfield until the other 2 get fit/up to speed.

Then we have a wealth of options behind Watkins to rotate:

Bailey, Diaby, Rodgers, Buendia, Ramsey, Illing Junior, Dobbin.

Don't see many more signings coming in for now tbh.

Still want to see that second out and out striker and another right sided CB.  Then a case of one in one out with Duran, Cash being directly replaced, the peripherals available to raise funds for the young and hungry brigade.

There will be 2-3 minimum, depending on outgoings

We've hardly spent anything and now that we are PSR compliant with almost a guaranteed increase in revenue this season, wouldn't that lend itself to some larger deals getting done?

I can't imagine we're going into a Champions League campaign with some new kids and Ross Barkley.

It's been 3 days since the new financial year started and we haven't been seriously linked with anyone yet! Not happy! What is Monchi even payed for?

Going on what we did in January, I imagine Monchi will sign one or two young players that will develop over time.

Suspect we will see a good quality Bosman signing. Tielemans and Kamara have joined in the last couple of summer windows, and will be surprised if we are not after any players of that quality that can come in without a fee.

I think we will sign a right back, a centre back and a centre half and sell Moreno/Digne, Cash, Duran and maybe Carlos.

Can also see us loaning cover for Kamara.

I think if we were bringing in a bosman, we would have known by now. Hermoso was linked but seems to have gone quiet.

Half-season loans from the summer to winter are pretty rare.

You are forgetting Augustinsson.  Then Januaryoutsson.

Yep, Bosman's are normally agreed anytime from Jan until July 1st. Some players do not get snapped up because either they want too much OR they are just not wanted. (De Gea for example might be in both categories). There might be another spate of Bosman's towards the end of the transfer window as clubs and players then get desperate but I do not see us going for any now.

The Bosman options this summer are a bit thin on the ground. After Rabiot and Hermoso there's not much worth looking at.

It seems like clubs are finally getting to grips with it, given the potential FFP repercussions of losing assets for nothing at all.

I still think we should prioritise a DCM. It’s too big an ask to expect a 23 year old Argentinian that may not speak English to anchor the team for half a season.

Once they’re all fit, we can sometimes play two pivots to give them all the minutes they need.

I also think there’s a flight risk with Kamara so having the two new guys embedded in the squad protects against that.
