If added time has been completed then that’s it. You don’t have to play the corner. The only time you do have to continue is if a pen has been given.

You are absolutely right of course, but it’s very rare you see a corner won and not played before the whistle is blown nowadays.

Week after week the negativity here stands out to me.

We are 4th in the league and still in a cup competition. And having no luck with injuries.

Lets throw a party when we are losing then instead !

There’s another 45 minutes to play.

Well is last week is anything to go by im worried. But im hoping a emery rockets incoming because that was pretty shit 1st half.

Too slow, passing at the back terrible.going forward slow and no urgency or energy.  Its just dead.

And i expect zaniolo to come on and save the day 🤪

Anyway, 0-2 down at HT, we need something special here.

2! When did that happen?

Perhaps he doesn't realise their second goal was disallowed...

Emery at fault with the system and the selection. We've got 2 up up top, but played no balls in behind, no crosses have come in. Absolutely awful performance.

Duran no doubt agrees with you. He had a little hissy fit when clearly shaping to attack a Moreno cross that never materialised.

I do think the players have become so wedded to this Emery approach, of keeping possession and controlling the play, that they sometimes get a bit of tunnel vision. The result is that we're too often slow and predictable, it makes us easy to play against.

The 2nd was disallowed.

I am including the one we concede within about 5mins of the restart, after our halftime spliffs.

First few minutes we looked good, then Moyes countered it by moving Soufal further up our left. Moreno and Tielemans shouldn't be on the pitch, very poor. Very sloppy in possession and firing blanks up top. We should have had a penalty though.

Some of the negativity on here is crazy.  0-0 or 1-1 would have been about right and ok we are not at our fluid best but that is understandable given our missing players.  To say we were pathetic or wank is just wrong

We've been wank

You’re wrong then

Unai makes changes at HT, that is quite a rarity
