How come he blew before the corner?

Because he decided time was up. Referees aren't under any obligation to keep playing

Unless your liverpool manure or spurs of course

Some of the negativity on here is crazy.  0-0 or 1-1 would have been about right and ok we are not at our fluid best but that is understandable given our missing players.  To say we were pathetic or wank is just wrong

Moreno you are fucking shite.

He definitely hasn't fully recovered from his injury yet, so until he does, Digne needs to be starting.

What a rubbish half of football from us. Crap tactics from Unai again, and it's becoming a bit too common for me nowadays.

Lenglet and Tielemens aren't quite good enough to start Premier League games. Not against anyone decent anyway.

Konsa at right back rarely works, and he should always be in the centre with Torres. If you don't like Cash, you should have bought a ready to start right back in January, Unai.

Duran, Rogers....not for me just yet.

I expect more from Ollie, Dougie and Bailey when things aren't clicking for us. More talking, more drive.

All in all, wank.

I thought we were the better team for 30 mins if a bit toothless.  Then we started giving the ball away too much.  They are a classic David Moyes team - get the ball out wide and crosses into the box - stop that and you win the game.

But as well as the dodgy Lenglet, I can't see us scoring unless Emery changes the line up.  Something aint right!

Oh, and that was as obvious a penalty as they come. Why didn't VAR give that?  It's insane.

Michael Owen looks like he's just woke up after a 48 minute snooze.

Really poor that. Poor spectacle full stop, which is fortunate for us.

Giving the ball away, with no real pressure lead to the goal, bur we've done in 6 or 7 times. Konsa weak as anything for the goal.

Created nothing as we're slower than a tectonic plate I'm moving the ball. West Ham throttling space and packing 11 men behind the ball.

It needs a massive change in attitude, application and effort half time or we'll slip to a limp defeat.

Emery at fault with the system and the selection. We've got 2 up up top, but played no balls in behind, no crosses have come in. Absolutely awful performance.

Week after week the negativity here stands out to me.

We are 4th in the league and still in a cup competition. And having no luck with injuries.

The match thread is trying to reverse psychology / jinx Villa wins by being excessively negative. The hope is when someone says "Watkins is shite, I'd sell" that he then proves them wrong and scores.

Nobody actually means half the negative things they say on here.

Do they?

I hope no one calls anyone a conspiracy theorist but its so obvious they want spurs to get 4th. No pen for  ablatent hand ball then blows before 8th min for  a corner

Thats just bull shit of the highest level

Or we could just stop being shit?

Your asking too much 😉

This’ll be a regulation 2/3-0 win for them.

Rubbish
Should have had a penalty.
However, You can not constantly give the ball away in defence and not get punished.
Apart from Bailey no tempo from midfield , we just allow them to get back and set out their stall.
No one putting their hand up as the leader in SJM absence, Luis always disappoints me in this missing aspect of his game.

lenglet and Moreno have to come off, Cash to right back and Digne on. Our midfield is piss weak, the manager has got it wrong again. So slow going forward and a disaster waiting to happen playing out at the back.
