We conceded one like that against ManYoo. Lost the initial header from the corner and then got caught trying to push up to catch them offside instead of attacking the second ball

Ramsey let himself get roughed out the way and then let him go and Watkins trying to play offside instead of challenging.

That awful defending from the corner has ruined that half for me completely.  And 5 minutes stoppage time?  From what??!

Buh, frustratingly passive goal to lose that. Shame, as that's our Biggest Boy half this calendar year.

Those first 49 minutes were superb.
We played them off the park.
Ollie is giving them nightmares.

Interesting to watch Ollie leaping forward to catch them offside at the corner once the ball went to the back post - having clearly been bollocked for playing someone on side for a goal a couple of weeks ago.  Unfortunately it was McGinn's turn to be a fraction slow in stepping up.  These are the risks you take playing the way we do, and not having people on the posts.  A bad goal to concede, but overrall we've been excellent.

More of the same second half please!

What? A half where we score 3 and ran the show has been completely ruined by one momentary lapse?

Yes.  It's illogical and unfair I well know...  It would've been a perfect half otherwise. That doesn't happen too often.

I think that's by design. Ollie played someone onside for a goal by being the deepest defender recently, and you could tell from his body shape he was trying to step up as the ball went to the back post.  I think he was doing as he's been told.

Yes that’s probably going a bit far. We just need to reassert ourselves.

Great half, absolutely battered them. Cash has been superb, as have Pau, Luiz, Ollie and Bailey. And SJM.

Super performance so far we can cut them apart at will. It’s fine having a half decent front 4 like Forest have got but if you’ve got a shite defence and midfield it’s all for naught. Could have been 4 or 5. Come on Villa let’s have another

I wonder why Unai was ripping into Digne on the bench. Something happened/was said that Unai really didn't enjoy.
