Bloody hell. Glad that’s over. Not many positives to report. Bring on the proper stuff next week.

Really? Yes shit first half but we were much the better team second half against none other than Borussia Dortmund, and with a bit of luck and a better referee (and of corse Ollie) we could have won that
Fuck all happened the 2nd half apart from missing a sitter.

Pre season games are for fitness. However we still seems to have that bad habit of gifting the opposition goals.
The positive was at right back and nothing has changed my mind that we need a few quality players added to this squad.

My early judgement (and knowing I’m only basing it on meaningless pre-season friendlies) is that whilst we’re likely to have a better bench, we’ve not improved our first team. In fact, I don’t really know what team we’ll start with on Saturday.

Plenty of easier ways of finding out the score. But we lost 2-0

They didn't put much pressure on us 2nd half hence the feeling of being better but I am concerned still.

+ we played the CL finalists and it wasn’t as though we were outclassed.
Tielemans was the best player on the field

- We had about Zero goal threat
We could buy any player of theirs we fancy, we have the best manger we have ever had, but they just looked so much better than us.
We have a lot of pace in forward positions, they looked like a rugby team at CH, but at no point did we get them turning    and in a race
We never looked like controlling the pace of the game, to have a period when we dominated possession.

Not terrible but not particularly inspiring either.

By the end you wantt to be seeing some sort of cohesion, it shouldn't be all about fitness by now.

And also, a good workout, we will rarely play against a press as aggressive and as well drilled as that

The score doesn't seem to be on OS. Maybe they'll put it on soon

The OS wasn’t updating, I don’t use twitter on account of Elon Musk, but thanks for the advice.
