Nah. Arsenal is the one game we will win this season. Don’t buy Ipswich at home.

Look like we've continued the performance fro..the end of last season. Walsall and Bilbao aside we've barely threat the opposition goal this preseason. Early days yet and the season a week away but we look incoherent.

Our patterns of play are worrying, just repeating the same thing that doesn’t work. Martinez holding onto it for ages. We play ourselves into trouble. Then whack it long to them. Like the last couple of months of the season. We can’t break the press at all. We’ve barely had any possession.

Having said that, it’s only preseason and I’m not worried. At all. Promise.

I'd have expected to see some actual tactics being tried by now. Some partnerships being fine-tuned, some attacking shapes being finessed. But all I've seen in preseason so far is a bit of a mess, really.

We are away to the team who really should have won the European Cup last season. Players need to learn that they have no time to fanny about on the ball at that level, this is a very good lesson. Watkins will make a hell of a difference, we'll be fine...

Thing is tactics stem from Unai and the teams analysis of the opposition.  I doubt they have bothered for these friendlies

Prefer Bogarde at right centre back and have Konsa out wide. Bogarde is far better with the ball and at least is always looking to play it forward. Both Konsa and Torres invite too much pressure on the press and have been crap this half.

Torres is just lucky he doesn't have the name Diego Carlos on the back of his shirt. Can't understand what's going on with him. I even saw him the schoolboy error of turning his back on play to run back five yards with the ball close by. Madness.

McGinn has not had his usual effective game, up against some big clever blokes in their midfield though

Like Luiz, he seemingly needs Kamara to make him look good.
