Every opponent is playing the ball over the top this pre season against our high line.

Yeah, and it really shows how much we use VAR as a safety net for offsides.

In the prem, only four goals against were overturned for offside against us last season. So yes, a safety net but not as much as you would expect and the lino's in the prem are actually quite good (at least for us).

I knew someone would say that!  ;D

It’s not just about how often it saves us, it’s the knowledge that it will save us gives us more confidence to play it.

Yeah, we don’t want it to get ill-tempered and risk someone getting hurt.

I realise we haven’t yet had chance to train/play with our best back 4, with Konsa and Emi, but slightly worried about how teams are playing through us. Can see Cash trying to coach Bogarde through the game though tbf. Cash-Konsa-Pau-Maatsen with Emi behind them will be good I’m sure.

What happened? I’d popped outside because the police helicopter was hovering over my estate

I was about to compliment Gauci on his handling the playing out from the back, but then he just blasted it back up the pitch.
