Kosta has looked decent coming forward but made some mistakes when on the ball and getting caught out of position.

Ah Louie Barry has to do better.

Lovely ball from Dobbin though.

Half time, 1-0 to Villa.  Very low on chances at either end. Bailey being very greedy with the ball, too many touches.  Barry and Dobbin are very lightweight but playing through the middle doesn't suit their game.  I like the look of Barrenechea and Nedeljkovic, they will only get better under Unai.  Illing struggling to get into the game, not seen much from him so far.  Gauci looks ok.  Swinkels is all arms and legs and I'd like to see him go out on loan.

They have Martin Skrtel on at half time doing the punditry on this stream. Proper full head of hair.

I’m wondering if Gauci will get some gametime in the cups and CL this season over Olsen.

Gauci looks much more comfortable with the ball at hi feet than Olsen.

Douglas Bader would have looked more comfortable with the ball at his feet than Olsen
Yes of course everyone is better in goal than Olsen, anyone who’s ever player football in any position at any level🤦🏾

I'm looking forward to seeing Barrenechea play: I have a feeling we've found a real player here.

I thought he looked very comfortable, good on the ball, I can imagine Unai likes him a lot. Agree he should go out on loan, we have Mings and Pau on the left but he's certainly one for the future. Nothing less than a top half footballing Championship side should be the target.

Josh Feeney is too good-looking to be a centre back.
