I notice Leeds have advised fans not to travel to their pre season friendly in Germany as the Germans have said all games should be behind closed doors.

"Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond control of the club, we have recently been informed that any friendly matches played in Germany have been ordered to take place behind closed doors,"

I hope that doesn't mean our game will be the same. I think it's to do with having resources after the euros.

Leeds are going out there in July just after the Euros finish, with all the police manpower & focus that has taken up. You’d hope by August 10 things will be back to normal. Hope so as my flights aren’t refundable.

Looks like the pre-season fixtures are included in the Villa TV package this year, rather than as add-ons.

Just had an email about the benefits. It's gone up to £24.99, but in total that's cheaper than last year plus the pre-season package.

Villa TV used to be included with a ST.

I assume we don't get that any more. I haven't looked for a couple of seasons

That's all included with the Membership £40 offer, isn't it?

Do we know when the players report back to training?  I presume the likes of Ollie and Konsa, Tielemans, SJM Martinez etc all get extra time off for a break.  We will half a side for the earlier pre-season games by the look of it. Maatsen too? Good job we have half a dozen left backs.

^ I'd assume it's soon. The first preseason game is on the 17th, so possibly this week?

Quite a lot of the squad weren't away with their countries this summer so there should be a few involved in pre-season from the start.
