They are both decent clubs, with decent fans from my experience.

We've been on the receiving end of a couple of thumpings like that and it's a feeling of numbness as each goal goes in - I actually think they got off lightly as we dropped down a few gears after the 4th - which was the sensible thing to do with the games we have coming up.

People are generally good folks here, so I'm pleased you had a positive experience, though that last one being wiped off by VAR really was salt in the wounds stuff.

The people of Sheffield also gave us Def Leppard, so it's not all good.

Woah!! easy Tiger :-)

Pyromania & Hysteria are still class albums

Yep, i wouldn't take that Lion down.

And Arctic Monkeys.

They have given us Richard Hawley though, so they're forgiven.

See there you go, you can say something sensible! 🙂

Plus the Cabs (Voltaire), the League (Human), Pulp (not juice), the Limit and the Leadmill.  They're heavily in credit.

Let's face facts neither Blades or Owls have any Gloryhunter idiots.

Always found Sheffield people to be amiable and very friendly.
they're ok, just weird how they say reet instead of right

I tell you what, Sheffield is not a happy place right now.

A combined 9 goals against at the weekend and resignation, particularly in the red half.

I actually started to feel sorry for them on Saturday; it was just so easy for us and if we'd really wanted to we could have scored more, but conserving energy, and resting some players ready for Chelsea was the right thing to do.

I suppose my feelings were clouded by the fact I live here and my other half is a Sheffield United supporter, but it was so embarrassingly easy and makes the December result all the more frustrating.

I like Sheffield and surrounding area as well.  Although it was great to see us on the rampage, I did feel.somewhat for them.

We've been there, a bleak season and those kind of thrashings, particularly at home, just compound the misery.

Even the Blades Business Crew shake your hand and offer you a coffee and a read of the financial times before kicking the shit out of you.

Was it a Blades steward I saw ask Diaby for a selfie at the end of the match after Mouassa had handed his shirt to a little girl in the crowd?  Fair play to him he obliged the bloke.

Yes indeed Dave!
We were quite near the front so had a good view of it all.
Also, Big Emi chucking bottles of water and Lucozade Energy type drinks to the first few rows of Villa fans once we went 3 up. He was a very happy chap!

Top local knowledge Eamonn. The Leadmill was known nationwide but the Limit was more intimate and much more fun.
PS you forgot Heaven 17
