Wilder is one of archetypal British managers, of which there are many but he’s definitely right in that bracket

Shit football, all bluster and puffed out chests and the bloke whinges like no other He was moaning the other day about someone eating a sandwich
The man’s a first class tool

Yep, he had one good idea with the centre-backs getting forward and people started to treat him like a tactical mastermind. Once that got sussed out we were able to see how he responded - and how he responded was very meat and potatoes.

That can still do the job though. We need to be much better than we have been today. They'll be physical and stubborn and we need to be the same.

First goal in first 10-15 minutes and we batter them, otherwise could be drawn out slog

They'll won't play any differently to how they did at Villa Park. They'll try to shut us out & snatch a goal on the break or from a set piece. They certainly won't give it a go.

Bailey, Carlos & Ramsey to start in place of Diaby, Cash & Tielemans.

If we get an early goal, they could fall apart.

If we concede first it will be tough going.

0-2 win.
Martinez
Cash, Carlos, Konsa, Lenglet, Moreno
McGinn, Kamara, Luiz,
Bailey Watkins

Watkins has never scored v Sheffield United but I think he could score along with Mc Ginn.

I read the ref is Paul Tierney. This is the tenth time he has covered our games and we have yet to win one. Gulp.

Right Villa players it’s time to bring your levels right back up again and respond - the last month of games has been weak. It’s time to step it back up, starting today with a big win.

Yeah, this feels like this is quite a big point in the season.  Following this, we've got Man Utd and Forest at home and Fulham and Luton away in the league.  Not easy, but the kind of games we could get a good return from if we're playing well.  A good return from today and those four games, should see us consolidate our top 5 position.

Just need a good win and performance today to get us going.

He is no friend of The Villa.
Another dodgy incompetent twat.

Another loss incoming, I think.

You can't play a high line with Lenglet. Spurs learned that the hard way last season.

Blades keeper looks a bit fragile.

This game's suddenly got more important. Unfortunately, we've been presented with plenty of opportunities in the last month and a bit which we've flubbed like a drunk actor. Come on Villa, break the pattern.

Well, with Everton getting a last-gasp draw with Spurs, we have all the incentive we need.  A win and back into the top four - come on!

Did you not just change that from "Spurs keeper" ?!
