Pau back training but won't feature.

FFS I guess I should take the positive out of that.

I reckon we're going to have another shit display here.

They'll get in our faces and we won't know what to do.

Pissflaps.

Very annoying, but as I expected it to be March before he’d be back I’ll take it. It’s up to the other players to take some responsibility and play much better.

Apparently Zaniolo’s injury is just a small one. Translated from Villa speak that means his next appearance will be for Galatasaray next season!

If we can’t be confident about beating the bottom of the league team who have only got 10 points, one of which was against us then we might as well forget all about top 4/5
We’ve got to be wafting them out of the way like other top teams do

We ought to be, but that kind of ignores how off form we’ve been of late. Hopefully this will be the game where the turnaround begins, but it we put in the level of performance we have in the last few games it’ll be a struggle.

I am not confident at all, our away form has not been great all season.
We must not concede first.

At times when we are playing shit teams like Sheffield United I'm not sure Emery's style lends itself to a winning formula.

He's all about about controlling the game and keeping possession which Is what we all want, But Teams like Sheffield united will just constantly give us the ball back regardless if we really have a go.

I feel like we've lost the higher press somewhere which gives teams time to hoof it over our Defence who in turn cant play offside without Torres and Konsa playing centre back.

the issue I think at the moment is either the build up from the back is too slow, so it gives teams a changce to gt everyone behind the ball, or the ball from the back, especially Martinez, gets hoofed up the pitch to no-one.

Or too many times players in wide positions,  I'll use cash as an example, receive the Ball advance 5 yards check and play it backwards . Then the slow predictable passing starts again .

That really annoys the hell out of me.One of the midfielders will make a great pass or dribble only for it to end back in midfield again.
