I'm pretty sure if we intended to sell Martinez in the summer, we'd be confident of having funds from the sale enough to buy an experienced goalkeeper in the summer.

Martinez only sold if we didn't make the Champions League or if the financial issue meant we had to.
I'm confident he would stay and play Champions League with us, but if we only win the Europa League, I think it's fair to maybe think he'll be sold to a Champions League team for financial reasons.

Which Champions League team do you think would want him enough to pay us what we asked for?

Well as we can't win the Europa league this season, bye bye Martinez? Even if we finish 4th?

It's not coincidence that I made a mistake in saying the other Europa Conference league. I was shocked to hear about these financial losses and have been reeling on this and I've been thinking about how the club can fix things.

When you observe teams getting deducted points and clubs selling players, you must take note and make strategies to prepare yourself.
The club are doing that and I must do the same

That's the thing it would have to be a big fee. Athletico Madrid , Bayern Munich, PSG. Only those level clubs. Real I think aret looking
At the end of the day the Copa America is on this summer that will be Martinez priority I think he would be staying if all things turn out well but have to prepare ourselves sometimes for things we don't like or wish to happen.

Well and to you. The 4 in 10 is going to be something period of day that's an immediate concern but the underlying financial issues is a concerning one.

The clubs you mentionned already have top class goalkeepers so they won't spend huge money on that post.

Martinez -despite being superb - wouldn’t fetch amongst the highest prices, whilst selling him would be more damaging to the team, in both ability and spirit, than selling pretty much any other player.

That would be the stupidest move to make.

Exactly this. Goalkeepers are in general undervalued - to join in this with ours, maybe the most important keeper to any team in the league, would be too dumb.

Agree,
I don’t want to see any of our top players sold, but Emi is the one player I would consider irreplaceable.

I wonder if Gaucci will be on the bench on Thursday ? If Olsen was injured there's a potential for him to be making a debut in European semi!
