If he can improve his decision making and sloppy passing at times he will be world class.

Still not convinced 'number 10' is his best position and think he looks a lot better on the left.

Christ alive, it's like reading the tabloids with England sometimes. Some of the moaning about him is utterly ridiculous. The lad is bloody brilliant, and as with any player there are times when he isn't on form. He's been surrounded by average quality for a lot of this season. Bailey, Buendia, Sancho and an out of form Watkins in front. Behind him the midfield have been injured a lot.

He's 23 so energy levels should be good, he started this season in a similar way and there was a pile on then of people wanting him sold. Then he was the best player on the planet and surprise surprise now people went him gone again.

I find him incredibly infuriating and at the same time quite brilliant. I find him hard to like because of this even though I would consider him one of our players of the season.

I think people are getting ahead of the seemingly inevitable transfer to ****** FC in the summer.

Why? He seems like a pretty humble guy to me.

I think it’s from when he first came and did that cupping his ears thing when going through one of his below par periods of that season. That always gets my back up.

He blows hot and cold.

I'd rather keep him.

But can see a future without him. And wouldn't be as miffed as I was when Grealish bailed and Jacob Ramsey had to be offered up as a FFP sacrifice.

Maybe it's because of his Olbiyun background n'all.

On that note, were we to lose him I'd be using a chunk of it to bring Jacob back.

Good shout, that Newcastle squad is going to be ripped up over the summer.

Is that not more the heart than the head thing?

I imagine they’d prefer to sell Ramsey and keep Tonali so he might be available at a bargain fee.

I don’t think we could afford £40m or whatever they paid. Well we could, but that would be our main signing, and I don’t think he is enough of a game changer to justify that.

Not at all, it was a marriage of convenience why he left and we haven't had anything like the balance he gave us on the left without him.
