Stu featured in the half time tribute last night to those we have lost this season.

I missed this game as was looking after the kids, did anyone happen to
capture the image of him in the screen?

[EDIT - sorry just found the thread, will go watch the video, thanks)

Not sure I posted this before about Stu, I don't think I did. Anyway I was thinking about him today so I thought I would share. He made it a point to, where possible, only employ Villa fans on his team. It got to the point where there were five of us, 6 including Stu, and one very lonely stripey fan (who I'm sure he kept around for the pisstake) in the old Legal & General counter-fraud team of 9. The team is still dominated by Villa fans on a plurality basis and the stripey moved on elsewhere.

A year ago today. Can’t believe how quickly that time has passed.

It seems like last week when I got the text from Joe. I still expect a phone call any day.

Apologies Stu but only seen your post now. Thanks so much for sharing and providing a big smile on my face, especially today. Brilliant stuff and sounds typical of him, the sort of thing many in his position would joke about but he actually delivered. Keeping the Albion fan was just the cherry on the cake.

FTA has taken on a whole new level of significance this past 12 months.

I was in touch with Vicky yesterday. They're doing as well as you could hope for even though, as she said, the list of things Stu would have moaned about keeps growing.

It's fitting to put this here. The Swiss Cottage is closing.

I’ve done a flag for Stu to take to Wembley because the trip wouldn’t be the same without him - so look out for it.

Anyone who is on my fb and has better IT skills than me is welcome to put my photo of it here. x
