As long as McGinn has sobered up after his annual Dublin trip he should be raring to go.

Can't wait for this game as I think I've had my fill of FFP, stadium redevelopment (or not), yank corporate boogeymen and fucking badge designs.

It's been an unusually shit break from the actual sport hasn't it? I'd almost forgotten about it.

Yep. I also can't see the point of a "winter break" if you have to work the players like dogs in December to get one.

Sutton has us down to lose on the BBC website, as do a couple of wasters out of the Vaccines, one of which was born is Hampshire and supports Newton Heath. 'Course he does.

Apart from wanting us to win the Holy Grail this feels an important point in our development.
Win and I feel we will push on while losing may not be a disaster could flatten our trajectory
Come on Villa show how good you really are

Whatever happens, I hope we give Duran 30 seconds at the end, just to cup tie him in case he moves to Chelsea.

Vindictive, petty & childish?

Abso-fuckin-lutely!

Chelsea & all they stand for can go jump in a lake..

He can come on for his usual cameo and get booked for booting Conor Gallagher into orbit. Which would be nice.

Followed by a harsh second booking in the 98th minute for burning down Dennis Wise's house.
