Oh no, apparently Unai just said in his pre match interview that Ramsey is only out due to a very minor pain. That usually means a career ending injury in Villa speak.

Konsa at right back, gives us extra height & Moreno more freedom to go forward. Get the first goal & give away nothing.

David Coote, who looks like he should be in Wallace & Grommet is the ref. Probably the weakest ref in the league.

I assume Chambers is done at the club if we'd rather have an empty seat than him on bench.

Maybe gone in January which is why KKH back? Only 8 subs inc 2 goalkeepers.

Their 50/50 player Doucoure makes in into the first XI, our 50/50 Torres disappears even from the bench. Typical.

He was at fault for that goal v Burnley when he came in half fit so best we wait until he's fully fit before trying Torres again.

I'll tell you who needs a big game today, Diego Carlos. I'm not in agreement at all to move Konsa to accommodate him.

It's not too accommodate him though, it's from lack of trust in Cash to keep the ball.
I’d say Monty is correct. Our manager is not from the same school of thought to play Konsa right back just to fit another player in.

An attacking line up with Diaby, Watkins AND Bailey.  Hopefully, not defensively weak though.  Come on Villa.

Indeed, every player will have extremely specific roles and their selection for those roles will be back up by all sorts of observations and data. Doesn't mean it will work! Just that a ridiculous amount of thought goes into everything with this guy.

Frustrates me that we name 2 keepers and only 8 subs, surely we have 2 youths we can stick on there for the experience!!

Obviously hope it isn't the case, but don't like the look of that starting line up to be honest.  Think we will struggle if it becomes a physical battle.

I don’t think we miss Torres defensively as much as we do from an attacking point of view
He’s often the springboard for our forays forward with his accurate passes launching us into the final third

I hope I'm wrong but not sure that Bailey and Diaby in the same team is going to be strong enough for this.
