They really should have the 2nd leg on at VP on big screens for the fans. Id go 100% charge £10 and all money go to acorns charity so the fans if we get to final can celebrate together and help out acorns too. Win win

You won't go to a live Saturday match that kicks off at 2000, but you will go to a Thursday match that Kick-off at 2000 to watch it on a screen? 100%?

And of course you had to have a dig you cant help yourself can you? Not suprising at all.  Not that i have to e xplain my personal circumstances to you at all. Its quite sad really

I think your Chelsea reasoning is valid by the way for people who do have to travel such a distance. But just pointing out the weirdness of someone who stated they won't go to a weekend game with a pretty much confirmed endtime (stoppage time notwithstanding these days) because of how late they would get back home, but would 100% go to a Thursday same time KO, which could finish upto 50 mins after the final whistle as per Lille, just to watch it on a big telly.

So according to you its wierd  that someome cannot make one day but can make another? Some logic that. How do u know i dont have friday off work for example?

The point being you dont know peoples circumstances so to call it wierd is pretty bizarre

Done, finally. Lucky my seats I wanted were still there after joining the queue again.

That was like pulling teeth.  An hour and a half, but sorted now.

I never stated anything about work the next day because I was using your own words that the only reason you are now not coming to the Chelsea match is because the time you would be returning which is definitely a valid reason as I mentioned. But if you don't think someone stating they would 100% do a 300 miles round trip to watch football on a big TV in a sparse stadium isn't weird........ You could even give £10 or even the saved travel money, (and if planned hotel money) to Acorns if that was big reason for doing it.

For context, I also think it would be weird for the people who turn up in Athens for the final without a ticket as well, but at least in Greece you will probably get a tan and can treat it as a mediteranean holiday.

Sold out. I'm fucking fuming. Booted out of checkout twice. In a queue for over an hour. Every time I tried to book an available seat the payment took me to a blank page. Piece of shit site

That's not at all good is it, my own experience wasn't great and I'm a ST holder with all the Euro Games.

Not being able to spend your money with the club is a bad look.

I woudlnt panic just yet if you didn't get tickets.   I might be wrong - but I would imagine there are thousands of browsers open with tickets in baskets that will never be checked out but temporarily taken out of general release.  As they hold the tickets for 30 odd mins.

Also - I had it show no places and then on another browser there were still a fair few left.  I would keep trying.

But - the whole thing has been a shit show.  And a few days after our CEO said - "Our core fanbase, our general admission ticket, we would like to give them a better experience" is not a good look.  A website for a club like ours should handle this in its stride.

The website was crashing so much, my wife even asked if my company made it - not a good a look.

As others have said, that might not actually be the case.  Think some complaints need to be made to the club though as thar was handled awfully.

I doesn’t help that the criteria was for claret members who have been to one knockout game.  You could literally join up prior to the quarter final go to that game only and get a ticket for the semi final.
I’ve managed to get two tickets which means one of my lads can’t go (I have to choose) and the family we go with can’t go either, we’ve been to most home games this season and I only missed one Europa home game.
What a shitshow!!

Yeah, if you’re just after a single ticket. You can keep refreshing and snap it up when one becomes available.
