Gueye is out at the AFCON and McNeil injured. Harrison is a danger and could exploit Moreno defensively. That said i expect our midfield to win the battle and we win the game

Did Harrison have a medical with us or how close was he to joining in the end?

Not sure we were even in for him, it was that Fabrizio Romano who had a spectacular intel fail and made himself look silly

Right come on Villa, I’ve got a bad feeling about this one so I’ll be delighted to be proved 100% wrong.

It'll be a hard game but I reckon we'll just about sneak it. 1-2. Bailey and Konsa with ours.

Dyche said yesterday that Everton haven't been awarded a penalty all season so we know what's coming.

I don't think we've played well since we beat Citeh, but we've picked up some decent results along the way.

Torres being absent is such a huge miss, his distribution and ability to progress the ball is basically what's made our recent outings far less convincing.

I'm not expecting a swashbuckling performance... but I really think we should be getting 3 points and back into 2nd place.

Agreed. Torres and Kamara are vital to how we play. We have also missed Tielemans.

Luiz and Kamara haven't played together since we beat Arsenal. That should change today. It will give us a true indication of the importance of that combination. Kamara also missed the Bournemouth game just before Man City so they have only played as a pair twice in seven games and in those games, we beat the top two from last season. In the other five, we've won two, drew two, lost one.

Agreed 100%. The best midfield combination in the whole league. We build our team around them.

Gives me confidence when I see both names on the team sheet. Villa to win, 1-2.

Our best performances have been with a midfield of McGinn, Luiz, Kamara and Teilemans - the quicker those four can start together again the better.
