The Ashley Young winner was so special wasn't it?
Incredible last few minutes!
Joleon who? ;-)
Unbelievable stuff. Had tears in my eyes for Sir Grahams last game , the away end was unbelievable that day didn't stop singing from half time onwards . We was upstairs behind the goal that day , the away end used to be there .
Incredibly special times VT.
It's what binds us together!

I remember just bursting out laughing when that happened.

One of my favourite Villa goals ever.

Everton fans have always been alright imo.

So have Liverpool fans also though. Well the Scouse ones anyway.

I was about to walk out at 2-2 but my then girlfriend persuaded me to stay. Up pops Ashley and then utter carnage. That moment was the highlight of our 4 year relationship.

We are currently functional rather than fantastic but results are the most important thing right now. With the Kamara/Dougie partnership likely to be renewed our defence will be better protected if Torres isn't fit and if our CL ambitions are realistic we need to win games like this. I see a scrap but also a win.....

0-1

If anyone else is waiting on their Everton e-ticket, the ticket office have told me they're waiting on Everton sending the data over, but it should be in the next couple of days.

Ive been to Goodison quite a few times over the years, a few draws and a few wins, including the 1-0 a couple of Januarys ago and the FA Cup QF in 2000, great day on my 26th birthday that.
I like the idea of Goodison more than the reality, I like some of the historical stuff around the ground and the fact its a bit old school with the terraced housing all around. But the view when Ive been there is all a bit shite and does seem like its a few steps away from falling down.

Saying all of that some of the new grounds are a bit souless, whether thats the actual grounds or the corporatisation of certain support who knows, a bit of both maybe. Saying that I’d quite liked the new Spurs ground, not so much the Etihad. One of my favourite away days over the years is Sheffield Wednesday, despite the ‘meat’ pie I had being the most unpleasant things Ive ever eaten, and I lived in Stoke for a few years in the mid 90s, oatcakes and all that.

Me too, the previously mentioned 3-3 SGT last match of the season being one, in the terrace behind the goal which was bouncing. The 4-1 win in the late nineties was a good one. Dwight Yorke's last game on the opening game of the 98-99 season was one to forget. The 2-0 win under big Ron (early nineties) another great day out.

I wasn't there , but the year we won the league and the Morley goal that went on to win goal of the season. We've had some special moments at Goodison Park for sure .
