Jesus, how many rounds does this thing have? I was under the impression you just played the 3rd round and that was it, now people are talking about there being a 5th round!

World's gone mad.

Interesting stat I saw.

Last time we lost a FA Cup Replay at home was in 1976, to eventual winners Southampton.

Time previous to that was something like 1932!

Has that horrible feeling of inevitability about it.

Greasy getting a one minute cameo. Hopefully someone will snap the ****** in half.

Got me thinking about replays I remember. Wycombe in the horror season, Palace under O'Neill, Newcastle in 2001. Spurs in 92. No others spring to mind at the moment.

We haven't lost an FA Cup replay at Villa Park since 1976. That was to Southampton in R3, they went on to win the Cup that season.
Incredibly you then have to go back to 1932 to find the previous home replay defeat, to Portsmouth in R4.

I'm not sure if you're telling us we'll win, or that we're due a replay loss.

Some more, Notts County and Pompey under Little. Blackburn under SGT.

Southampton in 1969 was pretty special, in front of 58,000.

We've never lost at home to Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Last home FA Cup game was a 2-2 draw in 1987.
We lost the replay 2-1, which was the last time we scored an FA Cup goal against them.

you've done it now haven't you? Like all those forwards who haven't scored against us, or go on goal droughts stretching back decades until they roll up aganist us.

My first FA Cup game that was, we'd left just before the end and missed our equaliser.

Who scored for us? Dean Glover or one of those non-entity names that you're convinced was a made-up Villa player? I was only 2 so I wouldn't know.
