Remember when Lerner put free coaches on for this one few years ago

Remember when, just occasionally,  we were a bit more than a revenue source?

Opening his wallet for a few thousand of us to get to West London was harmless enough. Unfortunately he left it open and MON could raid it unchecked resulting in an overbloated squad with too many overpaid underperforming passengers. When it all blew up in August 2010 we were consigned to a near decade of decline.

I did think that wasn't as altruistic as was made out at the time. The coaches would have been a few quid but we got a cut of the gate money and having them pick up right next to the club shop didn't do us much harm either.

We've had loads of favourable draws, just like Man Utd have had. It's just that we've tended to lose a lot of them. We've probably lost more cup games against lower league clubs than the rest of the bigger clubs combined over the last 30 odd years. Grimsby, Oldham, Bolton, Fulham, QPR, Millwall, Stevenage, Luton, Bradford, Doncaster, Stoke, Leyton Orient. Just off the top of my head.

Peterborough, Swansea, Sheffield United, Helsingborg, Burnley, Varteks, Leicester.
Small Heath.

My bloody 40th birthday that one..

Tough one
I have seen Chelsea, fleetingly on TV and they seem to have improved.

That didn't age well.

I think Europa Conference and Top5 will be the priority.

This will be a free hit.

Don’t Chelsea play on Wednesday also in the league cup semi 2nd leg?

Bizarre that we are on Friday but so are Spurs which is on TV.???
Hugely inconvenient for fans and I fail to see the rationale.

What am I missing here, why are we playing Friday night if not for TV coverage?

Foreign TV rights.

I'm 99% sure I'll be able to see it.
