We'll get something desperately dull like Sheff Utd H

That would do. We want some dull, relatively straightforward games where we can rotate a bit/give some fringe players a bit more game time, before a home quarter final and a semi against Wigan, final against Man City where we funeral them and give Grealish a massive round of fucks.

I was hoping for an undeserved win on penalties away at Cit£h in the qtr final with Grealish missing the all important penalty for them with a chorus of “you should have stayed at a big club” ringing in his ears. I can but dream…..

I'd like us to beat Tottenham, Liverpool, ManU and ManC on the way to winning the trophy.

Absolutely.  The way to progress in the FA cup is not to be entertaining it's look at the job in hand, conserve energy, win by the one goal and onto the next round just as we did. You don't get any further by winning by more goals.

It’s just great to have an interest past the first week of January.

Gut feeling is we’ll draw one of our local ‘rivals’. Bring it on!

I'd like Wrexam at home.

I understand why some people don't like them as a kind of Man City / Chelsea of the lower leagues.  But even so, I like the documentary and the owners.  Most of their players come across pretty well too and Paul Mullin looks like a very decent player.

It would be good to see them live and I'm pretty sure it would be a sell-out.  It would be nice for America to see what a proper football ground looks like too.

So long as we don't fuck it up, I can't see many downsides.

I think I've spotted the flaw in your plan.

Hmm.  Thing is, where we are now in relation to them (all) is such that it's a no win situation, result aside.  We'd be expected to thrash them, so if we did it wouldn't be all that amazing, and if we didn't it'd be awful.

My hope is relatively easy next round draw, then let's have Man City/Liverpool at home for rounds 5 and 6. Once they're out the way anyone else on neutral ground we'll batter.

Well yes, then it would become horrific.

Liverpool v Man City is the draw I’d like.

Once that’s drawn I’m not too fussed who we get. Away to only balls 30 or 31 would give me a new ground to go to - but getting tickets for any of those would be a challenge.

Pretty much 50% chance of getting a Prem team, assuming West Ham and Luton come through their replays and Man Utd beat Wigan. Home draw would be much appreciated.
