For those old enough it was similar to 4th Rd v Sheff Utd away in 1996.

We were the better team in a season where we were doing well and they were doing well.

I hear Dion (who we all like) saying things like '....not moving the ball forward quick enough...' Sometimes but that isn't our game. Its about craft, guille and presicison.

DD the game has moved on in the last 5 years let alone 20 years ago when you were playing

I thought that when Dublin was going on about Emi standing with his foot on the ball. "What's he doing?!" Watched us a lot recently have you, Dion?

I want to like Dion Dublin, but his commentary makes me think he knows feck all / wants to sound like the other pundits.  He’s my least favourite and that’s weird given his connections. Same with Hendrie.

Why me?

Because you’re always good at anticipating his comments and I reckon these are close.  Only having a laugh mate.

The fact we had to bring on Watkins, Luiz, and Diaby means that we had to get into 2nd gear, at the very least.

On another note, as someone else kind of suggested, I'd like to have seen Zaniolo started up front. Maybe in the next round, depending on the draw, we might try something different in that respect, especially if Durán does go to Italy.

Luiz stood out, he played a few passes between the lines that no one else in our team is capable of. Sideways and safe is all well and good but sometimes you have to take a risk. Diaby missed a sitter. Zaniolo nearly got a scorchio

Dion - he is doing that so the opposition have to move a little because he isn't gonna hoof it down the middle for a big man to win a header and create a chance it 1 in 8 as that is now 1 in 20

Luiz is the best impact player at the club. He is also the best outfield at the club

Although he wasn't really called into action too many times, Emi Martinez showed how important it is to have a quality keeper in games like that.  He snuffed out any real pressure they had by his reading of the game and the ease with which he took the ball that was fizzed low across the box in the closing stages.

I enjoyed watching that.

Never looked like losing it, and could have had a hatfull. Moreno and Ramsey getting closer to match fit. Good cameo from Zaniolo. Subs made a difference.

Pleased Cash got the goal, he worked hard all game.

Ref was awful. Still puzzled how we got so many yellows, whilst they should have had a lot more.

How the fuck did we end up with 5 yellows to their 1? Another shocking referee to add to the ever expanding list.
Did we even had 5 fouls

We are winning in many different ways. That will help us long term. The experience is invaluable.

No. Two of them were for dissent.
