Special mention for Dions commentary at the end .  ‘ Boro won’t change their game they will keep coming at them ‘. what ?  they have sat back and just occasionally counter attacked 😳

Another night it would have been 0-5.  Job done.

Getting through without a replay is the main thing but we made harder work of it than it should have been.

Draw is Monday night. We actually give a shit about the 4th round draw!

it's going to be a little bit bizarre. What's also curious is that we have one of the best cup managers ever and we seem to make hard work of cup games and seemingly easier work in the league. I'm sure it's all part of our evolution. Great to get through though however we managed it. And we deserved to win by many more.

Apart from hit and hope long balls, and corners Boro had little ambition.

Got what they deserved SFA.

Was Cash sticking his fingers in his ears to the Villa fans when he scored?

Villa played okay, won endless corners and should have had a penalty. Konsa hit the post with a super header and we were completely in control throughout. The substitutions were spot on and well-timed.
Cash's goal - lucky, and he had a poor game generally. Konsa and Lenglet played well. Kamara was excellent; not so McGinn.
Duran was poor - no movement and wasn't seeing the movement around him: he needs a loan, now.
Ref was card-happy for us; perhaps he thought that he should set different standards for the Prem side. One tackle on Ramsey in the first half was really bad but not penalised.
