I think he's a great utility option to fill in a few different positions. He's young and covers a few different positions and does a reasonable job in all of them making him massively valuable for the club-trained spots in the squad for Europe (once he needs to included in list a from summer 26).

One of our biggest strengths is the amount of players we have that give us some degree of flexibility in how we use them and who we pick around them.

For me he's been one of the big plusses of the season. A home-grown utility player is valuable in more ways than one.

I'm still not sure about him as a right back. He does seem to look more comfortable playing more centrally.

Not a RB for me.  The problem with utility players is they always turn out decent at all positions and not great at any, see Phil Jones.  I'd like to see him get a run at DCM, it's the only way to find out.  We still seem to have this reticence to play our youngsters...or our academy isn't all it's cracked out to be!

Most young players would give anything for a career at the top level as long as Phil Jones had.

Paul Madeley was the first I heard referred to as a "utility player".

A great player he was too, could play anywhere.

Excellent yesterday and another ‘yep he can play there too’ moment covering LCB. I think he’s good enough to be our 4th choice CB and cover the Kamara role if needed, longer term he could succeed Konsa too.

Surely Con Martin. Even played in Goal.

I'd trust him with a start at CB now, if we get more CB's crocked. Which is very likely.

Another terrific performance, and I'm delighted for him.

While clearly a right footer, you could see he has been working on playing off his left, and was not afraid to do so. Great distribution and composure.

Well done that man!

He could become our Phil Neville. And I mean that in the good, Man-Utd-title-winning way.  If he can cover three or four positions at the back and in midfield, at 80%+ of the standard of the first choice, then he could prove invaluable over the next year or two. 20-odd appearances a season, never really nailing down a starting 11 spot, but STILL making a really meaningful contribution to results.

Appears to be taking it all in his stride. He impressed during our FA Youth Cup winning run, and it's great to see one of the kids breaking into the first team.
