Good for him. After the pre-season he had, it's well deserved.

I wonder if he'll see some game-time if the move for the Dutch lad can't go through due to money being too tight?

Especially as he has since shown some real ability in pre-season to add to the thoughts that he was a decent prospect.

I would like to see more of him this season in the Villa side. Maybe start off in the League Cup & go from there.

We need to start keeping some of these youngsters around to bulk out the squad for the busy season we are going to have this year.

It doesn't look like Diego Carlos is going to Fulham so if we have to keep him around, that might mean a loan move might be best for him until we get him a move.
