You just can’t enjoy a goal anymore thanks to VAR doing its utmost to find a minor issue.

They just actively look for a reason to disallow goals.

I don’t have a problem with the technology or the original intention, it is the human factor which is wrong.

It should be the other way around and they’ve lost sight of that. Find a really egregious error and everyone is ultimately fine with it. I like what Colin Wanker said the other day. Set a time limit and you have to be able to make a decision. And the on field decision overrules everything. So if it was a goal, then if it warrants review you have 30 seconds to find a glaring error. There will always be post match scrutiny and chatter. But I’d rather it for goals being given than the tedious blunt instrument VAR has become.

Our goals

1-0 https://twitter.com/starsballsvs/status/1741119385090073023

2-0 https://twitter.com/starsballsvs/status/1741122779292835895

Rather weird non celebration when Diaby scored. Maybe part of his lack of form is that he hasn't integrated into the dressing room (yet)?

And half time. Hopefully second half is a bit more straight forward.

I figured it was the same reason most of us didn't celebrate.
