It only occurred to me yesterday afternoon that there was even a possibility we could lose this match. And I realised immediately that Christmas would be ruined.  :'(

Lump a load of cash on us not winning - will soften the blow!

Nah, I'm not a gambler.

I was forced to go to Doncaster races a few months ago and ended up about £35 up, so I'm quitting while I'm ahead!

Just seen the Video of the players and staff visiting Birmingham Childrens hospital - puts everything into perspective!

They're 11-1 on Paddy Power. Still £10 on then buy a decent bottle of whisky to drown the sorrows over Xmas.

so, do we just try and win by 7 tonight ? it means Liverpool can win (as long as only by 1) and we would STILL be on top at Christmas :-)

Cover all the bases

Works for me! Also means we can ease up for the last half an hour and make some subs with an eye on Boxing Day.

No Torres confirmed.  Lenglet to step in.  Tielemans still out.

If Lenglet's playing then I assume he'll continue with Konsa at right back and Cash on the bench?

I would assume so.  It worked better at home I suppose.  Writing on the wall long term for Cash I think.

Yep, I'd be surprised if we don't get a right-back upgrade in the next two windows.

Surprised that Lenglet would step in rather than Cash.

Why not cash konsa lenglet and a left back?

The lack of Kamara in midfield who also drops in might mean he goes safer with Konsa at right back.

Also Cash becomes an option later in the game if we do need a goal

We’ve struggled defensively and had hardly any clean sheets all season, but since we made Konsa right back we’ve only let in one goal. I wonder if he feels we’re harder to beat but still pose enough threat going forward.
