They will probably play with a back five sitting very deep, I just hope we can get an early goal so that eventually they will have to come forward and open up otherwise it could be 90 minutes of attack versus defence.

Like yesterday for most of the game (not that you'd get that from some of the match reports I've read this morn).

Sheff Utd have as much chance of winning this as we do of winning the title.

12/1 with most bookies.

Well Archer will be back at Villa Park after Friday some time in May so not a massive mistake, just a look into the future.

If we do have to buy him back in the summer are we allowed to sell him in the same window?

This is the one I am dreading.

Not because we aren't good enough to beat them, on paper, or that they are amazing or anything like that.

Its just that being a Villa fan for over 40 years, experience tells me that this is the perfect storm banana skin sort of game to end our home victory run & stop us from sitting at the top of the table over Christmas.

0-1 to Sheff U.

And obviously, the only scorer could be Cameron Archer.

A £20 bet on this might be the easiest money one could ever make. 😂

I really really hope that I am wrong & you people can rip the piss out of me after the game...😉

I thought we would lose to Brentford so it has to be this one ,   or does it ??

Bournemouth for me, think we need to realise Emery is taking 'typical Villa' and dismantling it much like he did with Brighton.

I think 3-1 to Villa. Dougie being back will make a big difference, plus Digne, Tielemans and Bailey. That will set a new record of 16 straight home wins.

It's a golden chance for us to build on our goal difference before the visit to Old Trafford. That said I expect we'll drop down a few gears second half to preserve energy with Unai making a few subs. Another tough game but at Villa Park I'm expecting no surprises. It also offers another chance for Moreno and especially JJ to get up to speed.

I like Sheffield, the people and prefer United over Wednesday but they'll have to go elsewhere in their search for points if they want to survive this season. Expect them to park the bus, five across the back with Archer the lone striker to try and catch us on the break.
