22 is the magic number.

Do that, and we're champions.

22 wins? I would say 25-26, no?

22 more wins, perhaps? (Win every game remaining)

Yep. A magic number is the number of wins still needed to be guaranteed finishing top. Obviously we won't win all 22 but it's nice to have a magic number this far into the season. Our magic number has usually gone after about 4 games of the season!

Just watching the Manu game where they were no doubt given all terrible decisions at the temple of doom.To beat them at that place you have to be great. to beat them by 3 goals you need to have officials who are are actualy independant.

I’m curious how Redknapp thinks it’s a “rubbish, ridiculous” rule on the handball. In this case it helps him control the ball, which enables him to put the ball in the net.

I had to go out for the last 10 mins. Sounds like it's lucky I did because I probably would've shat myself.

I was really worried about this game thought our run would end, it turned out that although we were not at our best we dug in and defended like titans. McGinn was out of gas the second half but he showed the way for the rest to follow. Would love Solanke off Bournmouth for christmas please Santa.

Just seen their disallowed goal, is Arteta really having one of his toddler tantrums about this?? Havertz pretty much caught the ball!

Arteta, “Arsenal did enough to beat Aston Villa” - erm nope you didn’t, you didn’t score any goals Mikel. You need to score goals to win games.

It annoys me that Unai's English is criticised when other managers talk bollocks like this.

If you did enough to win, you would've won. What you're in fact saying is that you would've needed to have done more than enough to win, to win. You bitter, nonsense-spouting tart.

What a wonderful win!

So good to have a manager who. An change the game with substitutions. Loved seeing him conduct the crowd as well.

Good to see our lads surround the refere when they did.

Bets two wins in a week since 1990. Until today that’s the last game I’ve been serenaded all the way back to the car.

Great times and so please for all the loyal Villans! We are different and Benjamin was right we do have class!

Probably in the wrong thread but I don’t care - next week I will be 74 and so I think I deserve to be cut a bit of slack

After the full time announcement (thanks PWS) I had a couple of glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon and reread the introduction to Simon Inglis’s “Villa Park 100 years - a great Midlands Sports Ground”

We must never, EVER, move away from VP

Thank you - and what a fantastic few days
