We were definitely gassed after about 10 minutes.  I'm hoping we play the B Team midweek and give these guys a deserved rest.  But, OH MY.

We could probably play Diaz and Digne, unless they're exhausted, they'll have next weekend off now.

When did we sign Diaz?

Oops. My befuddled brain has combined Dougie and Luiz there, I think.

I was ok with not winning today as I honestly thought it would be a step too far. But fuck it, and fuck them, and fuck the card happy referee, we have won 15 straight at home.

Glorious - obviously a lot more shaky than our imperious performance the other night but we gritted it out. I thought Pau and DC were outstanding.

In fairness to the ref, he made an absolutely brilliant decision with their disallowed goal. In real time that can't have been easy to see, and I don't think VAR would have overturned it if it had been given

I'm getting a bit misty eyed here, and it's not all down to the Vinsobres.

It's been thirty years since I've felt this optimistic about the Villa. Three decades of grudgingly accepting second best or worse, and finally, finally, I'm properly dreaming again.

Thank you Unai, you wonderful man.

This team is capable of every type of win.

They can smash Brighton.

They can play MC off the pitch.

They can scrape one against Arsenal.

They can come back from behind against Spurs.

Fuck off back to London you bunch of whiny, entitled cheating little pricks, of all of those 15 wins that one is my favourite, fuck the wankers.

Paul, you are a poet my friend. Sums up exactly as I feel as well.

For those of us who have been on this place for a good while, and been through some fucking miserable weeks and post match threads, this really feels rather brilliant doesn’t it?

Was there anything special done for Benjamin Zee apart from the three point tribute?

Just an aside. Matty Cash did well when he came on. Hope Leon is ok.
