Had a really shitty cold for the last few days.

Tonight's performance and result is just what the doctor ordered.

But I'm supplementing it with a large brandy to help the recovery.

Just back. Reminds me of 1980-81. That's all.

Me too.
Said pre game it kind of had a big game feel like Ipswich H in 1981 . Keep this up and every game is going to be huge .

Just back….. Wow just wow.
I’m starting to believe we are going places again.
Fabulous football and every player was superb as was the atmosphere. The turnaround in Bailey this season is remarkable, he constantly wants the ball and his work rate and attitude is fantastic now.
Absolutely played them off the park and could have been 3.
Same starting 11 for Arsenal please.

Nice to see Buendia getting in on the celebrations.

Although not balancing on the edge of the seat stretching like that.......

Would be a very Villa injury setback to fall off a seat in the changing room of a game you weren't playing in.

When was the last time we played that well? Genuinely can’t recall it.

Just fantastic.

Just a dream this.

We've been many top tier sides over the years. Usually through counter attacks and clinging on at the end.

When have we ever won with such supreme control like that? Bar 5-10 minutes after half time it never felt like we were in any danger whatsoever.

We're a CL club in waiting, we just have to keep believing it and produce it on the pitch as that was a 11/10 performance easily from everyone and the manager of course.

Superb!

Just got in from the game.

Didn't think we'd top the Spurs result so quickly... :D :D :D

So pleased for Emi on getting his clean sheet again after so long! Chuffed for Leon Bailey too after his frustrations against Legia last week!

That wasn’t just good, it was elite. You will not see that Citeh team often, if ever, utterly overwhelmed in a game like that - we were swarming them and if anything 1-0 flatters them.

The most shots Citeh have faced in a game since Guardiola took over.

Absolute Unai Emery masterclass. Again.
