*sob* I didn't see it! *sob*

Did the performance eclipse the 5-1 against Liverpool in '76?

I even got a text about it from my sister saying what everyone is saying in that her husband has never seen a Villa side play better.

Fantastic Villa!

We are so much better without Matty Cash.

Nah, we're better when Unai gets the team right for the game at hand. Sometimes it's Matty, sometimes it ain't. We've got a squad of heroes and a manager of genius.

Honestly, truly, no I don't think so, not quite. Can we get a CL place? No doubt about it

Yeah the ref was good, didn't notice him for the vast majority.

Be secure in the knowledge there's no chance of the highlights of this going missing.

I'm 28 so I can quite comfortably say that's the best 90 mins from Villa I have ever seen.

No words.

Give Unai the statue.

I'm 40 and I can safely say the same

I'm 53 and that performance is up there with the best, considering the opposition. 12/10 every player.
I'm 73 (this week) and can't wait to see a re-run as was out playing badminton! A wonderful early b'day pressie :-)

Yep, he was just so honest about how much better we were than them.

This is the best Villa side I have ever seen. Too young to understand it in 81 & 82 and we’ve had a few decent sides since, but not as good as this team. They are all outstanding and the way we play is brave, controlled and exciting.

League? No. But these things happen with momentum. Leicester's title, you were just waiting for it all to collapse, and it never did.
