I remember a few years ago, someone said if we were to play night games all the time, we'd win the League all the time.  They might be onto something.

Unbelievable, I'm not going to be able to get to sleep for ages now

Me too.  Got to be up at 6am too. Sweet dreams though, when we finally get to sleep!

I'm 28 so I can quite comfortably say that's the best 90 mins from Villa I have ever seen.

No words.

Give Unai the statue.

I'm 40 and I can safely say the same

I'm 60, and just listening on WM was breathtaking!

We are so much better without Matty Cash.

Best not get carried away
We probably need another 5 points to be safe from relegation

Harsh on Cash but I will say that back four tonight absolutely DOMINATED Haaland, Foden etc

I'm 53 and that performance is up there with the best, considering the opposition. 12/10 every player.

Unbelievable performance. Didn't fancy our starting team at all but very much proven wrong. Bailey coming of age tonight, credit to Emery for sticking with him. McGinn was unreal, Luiz, Torres outstanding. So many stars really. Leon Osman said it on commentary too regarding the quality of our subs compared to theirs.

Simply fantastic. We really are a great team to watch. Surely City have never been battered like that over 90 mins in the current State Owned era. My only slight downer was missing my first home game in years with a bad chest infection. Watching that has certainly helped me feel better. Can we begin to dream?

Immense performance. It wasn't down to City having an off day either, it was down to how great we were. I can't remember a performance as good in years, and we have had some fantastic performances under Unai.

Everyone was superb. The midfield bossed it. Tielemens had his best game. Some of his flicks and touches were utter filth. Konsa was majestic, Carlos and Pau were fantastic and Digne had a great game.

But Leon fucking Bailey. He's fast becoming my favourite player. He's a really likeable guy and it felt like he might have been done at Villa but his resurrection this season has been astonishing.

How often does a player have a couple of indifferent seasons and suddenly have such a turnaround? It rarely happens but Bailey has really stepped it up. Importantly he's managed to stay fit, which has been a big help. Unai wasn't overly enamoured with him last season. Probably on the fence and had Buendia not had that injury we might have let Bailey go for a half-decent offer.  Leon's really turned his career around. Love it.

52 and it's like the early 80s all over again only I can enjoy and understand it more. Sensational.
