So do we think Joe Rat deliberately got booked so he'd miss a nice warm welcome on his homecoming again?
No, it was stupid, not strategic.
Which sums him up really.

I hope we dispatch them with the style, finesse and minimum of bother that we did when Brighton came calling. Glad that Greasy will be banned, as at least we'll be spared the sight of him giving it the big one. Let's get into them right from the off. 4-1, Luiz to get the first with Watkins, Bailey and Ramsey all getting in on the action.

I'd settle for 2-1 with a late, extremely dodgy penalty.

Or the ref playing on and giving us advantage!!

Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Torres, Moreno, Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Ramsey, Diaby, Watkins ....we'll give them a fair old game with our best X1
That’s a good line up.

Need to blow them away in the first 20 minutes.

Agree apart from Ramsey who looked at best rusty on Sunday, I’d start Tielemans myself in that position.

Probably clickbate, though some reports online that he will be sanctioned for kicking off at the end of the game versus Spurzzz - resulting in a ban for either the game against us on Wednesday or Luton at the weekend.

Obviously for him to miss the trip to VP would be a big bonus. UTV.

Yeah possibly, Tielemans better as a 10 I think like when he came on v Spurs. Both of them were poor at the weekend. Ramsey to use horsey parlance is likely to come on for the run at the weekend. Kyle Walker's pace seems to be fading from watching him at the weekend and I think we can get joy on that flank.

I could be wrong but I think the last time Rodri was out for them Halaand looked average. So he can be up for it all he wants, if nobody is servicing him he's not going to do much.

Rodri missed the game when Wolves beat them.

It's nice to actually want to attend a game against this lot rather than trying to find an excuse to get out of it. Even with some players out and a bit of a dodgy patch they are formidable opposition but then so are we these days. All our players need to be bang at it and if the Manager puts Konsa at RB I'm going to turn my back until he puts Cash on!

Home advantage, under the lights and a full house will always help. Time to put a another shit run to bed.

1-0

Konsa will get destroyed by Doku if Emery selects him at right back again. It will take Cash, Konsa and McGinn to keep him quiet on Wednesday.
Apart from Haaland, Doku is the biggest threat for me. 1-1.

                 Martinez

Cash,    Konsa,  Torres,    Digne,

                Kamara

McGinn, Luiz, Ramsey/Tielemans

           Diaby

              Watkins

Has Emery not played Cash at RB at home? I think there will be a more traditional set up

There's a massive difference without Rodri, he's the one player whose absence hits them more than any other.

Man City will feel they've been sinned against (the irony of it).  Will the ref have a thought in his head they need favourable decisions to balance things up?

I also noticed that once the decision didn't go their way they took on the image of ManU throughout the 90s, surrounding the ref and taking it in turn to chew him out. Are they a bit rattled?  Can we exploit it?
