I know this is the match thread but I fear for the fans coming out of the game whatever the result with this going on.

Absolutely. The police have made this a far worse situation than it needed to be.

Up the pace, stop having duran run away from the ball because no one is filling the void and get JJ on.. we'll be fine.

Moreno looks decent as does Dougie. Konsa was superb. Just need the rest of the side to perk up.

The way we came out in the first few minutes I thought we would run riot. I was wrong.

Boring, tepid garbage. Kamara is not having his best night and Olsen and the defence are taking a few unnecessary risks playing with the ball at the back. We don't look like winning the game thus far and Unai needs to change something pronto.

Lots of people on twitter saying there's loads of Legia fans in the ground (in home seats)

Very glad me & my dad chose to go to the AZ game instead. Looks a bit moody outside, and he's not one for making quick getaways these days

What happens if it ends 2-1, do away goals count? I guess if it' 3-2 it just goes down to gd

Don't think the performance is anywhere near as bad as some are making out. Doubt back 5 have ever played together so bound to be a few issues. Moreno and Lenglet have been decent. Konsa and Luiz have been good too. Diaby with a fine goal after a run of ropey form.

Kamara gave them their equaliser. Both McGinn and Tielemans very average, wouldn't be surprised if McGinn was hooked soon but don't understand their positioning at all. Maybe McGinn selected to give Moreno a bit more protection but he looks a bit weary tonight. Duran is very fortunate Watkins isn't on the bench or it would be there games in a row replaced at half time.

Legia are no mugs.

Konsa is my favourite player by a mile these days, absolutely class every single time and so calm

Rubbish really, apart from the goal we have passed it sideways, backwards with little effect and zero intensity
You can tell, Villa Park is silent for this European game under lights.
Not for the first time does Kamara give a goal away through being   half asleep when the ball is passed out to him
We need to be the team on the front foot for the second half , to wake up the crowd and win
can we buy that guy who has scored 3 in 2 games against us >

It isn't about bad individual performances (bar Kamara's clanger), we just lack a bit of coherence.

If Kamara hadn't dropped that bollock, it would be a totally different story, Legia are having a go but haven't really done much else.

Olsen has improved, at least.

Up to very poor from abysmal. Some solid effort and he might nudge poor > below average.

RedSox says he's seen a bunch getting the heave ho from the home ends, including from close to him.

One thing, even after that stray pass from Kamara he’s still showing and he hasn’t gone missing at all.
