Legia fans

https://twitter.com/LegionisciCom/status/1730297793216942246

Pet Shop Boys fans too by the sound of them, the barsterds! Now I have Go West earworm.

West End Poles.

Domino Gdansking.

Lech Make Lots of Money.

Lodz of Money was there for the taking.

Imagine being a Legia fan thinking, "I wonder what the villa forums are saying about the match" and landing on here to find the place alive with Pet Shop Boys puns. Marvellous.

It feels a bit like the police were, ooh, an excuse to get the horses out and get a bit 1985 for a change.

What's the reasoning for the police to be doing that to them?

Seems a pretty shitty thing to do to them, if it was our fans being treated like that away in Europe then I think we'd be pretty pissed off.

Was the Villa fan experience in Warsaw not something similar, except after the game?

Unai just confirmed Ollie is 50% injury 50% rest.  Minor knock.

We're through to the next round now anyway, confirmed by AZ beating Mostar. Legia need to win tonight to stay in it.

Not sure, it just all seems a bit unnecessary from the police.

Is the game likely to kickoff at 8?

I'm sure the game kicking off while they are kettled on Witton Lane will end any disorder and calm the away fans.

Unai didn’t say as much but a small knock for a Villa player usually means major surgery as a minimum!!

Yep. Prolonging it will have precisely the opposite affect. Nothing spending money to go to a game abroad and finding the police stopped you from seeing it. That’s going to calm the tension.
