With this selection, Emery is taking an unnecessary risk. We don’t want those extra games in February. If Martinez is fit enough for the bench, he’s fit enough to play. If you want to rest him, leave him out of the squad.

Exactly this, if we are resting him, then rest him.

Apparently the police still aren't letting Legia fans into the ground and have them waiting in the away car park.

Bit of a weird team selection, I thought Bailey would be definitely starting.

I don't see the point of resting a goalkeeper and not Having Watkins in reserve.

Wonder why Ollie isn't even on the bench?

Might have picked up the cold that's going around from the WWWM crew, or Unai wants to give him a proper night off with 3 important games coming up. Hopefully, we'll find out after the game.

I can't see Emery just giving him the night off. If he's not sick/injured he should be on the bench. Don't play him if we don't have to but it would be madness to just not have the option there.

Solid team. Olsen will be fine. Very happy with that. Welcome back Alex Moreno. And hoping to see Jhonny D put in a great display.

This post has got the potential to age very badly.

Or cause needless mass hysteria.

If the worst happens and we're trailing and/or JD gets crocked, will be interesting to see how we play up front. And by interesting I mean worrying.

Zaniolo comes on and scores a worldie.
Lol

Back to back posts in here literally saying "weak selection", "stronger than I expected".  Maybe it just shows that we are pretty strong all around right now.

The only two questions I have is where the hell is Ollie and why Olsen now?
