It's probably the first time in our history that we'd take over 4k to Boro for an FAC 3rd round. Certainly selling them so quickly, most of the time our support up there has been in the hundreds rather than thousands.

I'd have given it serious thought until they moved it to 5.30 and put it on TV, no chance now.

Anyone any idea why so many games have been moved from 3pm Saturday that are not on TV and don't seem to especially cause location clashes. I'm guessing it's feeding foreign TV markets, but could it be something else?...

They move them out of the 3pm blackout as they can put them on iplayer or ITVX.

Going would cause untold misery - not least getting back to Bristol for me and back to London for my eldest, though I thought, "it has to be done".

Sadly not though. Extra tickets just sold out. UTV

If everybody who wanted to go could go I reckon we could have easily taken another 2/3k. The frustrating thing is there will be plenty of empty seats in the home sections with the Riverside holding almost 35k.
Last season they had 21k playing Brighton at home in R3, the season before they had 31k playing Tottenham in R5.

Let's hope we go strong to get through to the next round and hopefully if drawn away it will be at an even bigger ground

Basically ended up taking the full allocation which they should have done in the first place anyway

Middlesbrough will be concentrating on the League Cup Semi, rather than this match with us you'd hope.
