I'm not denigrating their academy, just clarifying he's not going to be joining as Head of Player Development etc etc whatever with our first team.

He was working for their academy in that role mentioned in the OP. No mention on what his new role is at ours, whether he goes straight in at the top or coaching lower down our pyramid (which would still be a boost to his wages anyway I suspect).
