I think 3-1 to Villa. One other thing, according to the forecast, it looks bloody freezing tomorrow night....!

we need to rotate some legs as Bournemouth is a huge game . 5 changes , Villa 2-0. Ultras go home cold and unhappy  :)

All this ultra talk is making me wonder whether I should be taking my 11year old.  Should be ok in the trinity lower though?

I hope you guys have a great evening, my Lad is 11 and doesn’t particularly like crowds and noise, but bloody hell he loves it at the Villa 😊
One of my little boys really wants to do to a match, taking him hopefully pretty soon (was going to be Sheff Utd but the buggers changed it to a Friday Eve and he won't manage that). The crowd noise is the concern with him for that, he's not a big fan of noises generally.

Ideally I’d like us to rotate, we’ve a challenging couple of weeks coming up but then part of me just wants to win this group and forget about Europe so much for a few months, I’d be tempted to go full strength or near it.

As it is, I expect we’ll see Lenglet, Carlos, Tielemans and maybe Zaniolo and/or Bailey. Maybe even Duran.

I wish we had options at right back.

We want players back fit, not cause more injuries.

With the amount of planning that's gone into this one I'll be amazed if we so much as see a Pole who isn't surrounded by police.

They'll soon all scarper when they see Ozzy the Bull on New Street Station

He's 11 years old.
Most kids like fireworks don't they

Not my son.  He wears his noise cancelling headphones when we go to fireworks displays and sometimes has to wear them at Villa Park when he struggles with the noise.

But thanks for your input.

He must have been well chuffed when Danny Ings did this last season then for another mascot (assuming this isn't your son).

Was a lovely gesture from Danny, my own boy struggles with noise too.

There was quite a queue for the upper north before the Alkmaar game so would think it’d be even worse on Thursday, although they have highlighted one of the main problems that night of people trying to get in on the wrong ticket, when using their  phone if it was purchased in the bundle.

There's an extra turnstile been put in there now.

access the turnstiles on the far right.

We’re really making the Legia ultras feel at home.

It's a false economy to rest too many tonight. I think we'll change a couple but not en masse.

Win tonight by two and we can send a nothing side to Bosnia and skip two games in Feb in the play off round. I'd rather earn three games off than rest too many tonight

My lad was very like Villa Mole’s. He loved going to football with me so much he coped with the crowds and noise. I made the mistake of moving away from the family area and he hated the swearing and aggression. I asked someone to keep it down and it ended up with me and him exchanging words which was the last straw for him. Definitely try to get seats in the family area if you can.

The Legia website announced the team’s arrival in Brum yesterday with the headline “Legionnaires already in Thomas Shelby’s town”.
“ Tomorrow we will show you the city - the icon of island industry and hard rock - and the stadium, whose original construction was created in the 19th century.”

"the icon of island industry and hard rock"

Shit, I like that, fair play to them.

Icon of Island Industry sounds like the experimental stage of a band. That funky 4th album that only the hardcore like.
