JJ, Moreno , Lenglent , Kamara ,Tielmans and Bailey to start , maybe Zano .

save a few for Bournemouth but those players are good enough to start .

Luiz and Digne need a breather anyway and probably McGinn too.

Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Lenglet, Moreno, Tielemans, Kamara, Bailey, Ramsey, Diaby, Watkins

Martinez, Cash, Carlos, Lenglet, Moreno, Bailey, Kamara, Tielemans, Ramsey, Zaniolo, Duran.

Watkins, Luiz, Diaby and McGinn amongst the options on the bench. Give Iroegbunam minutes too.

I’d be starting most of the current first choice and bring in JJ, Moreno, Tim, Moussa and Zani once we’ve got the game under control. I’d also start with Diego and Lenglet to give Konsa and Pau a rest.

Martinez

Cash
Carlos
Lenglet
Digne

Bouba
Dougie
McGinn
Tielemans

Watkins
Bailey

Villa win, with Legia fans complaining about the result and quality of pierogi in the Lower Grounds.

Martinez

Cash
Carlos
Langlet
Moreno

Ramsey
Kamara
Tielemans
McGinn

Bailey
Watkins

This for me as well. Diaby and Zaniolo on when we're 3-0 up to try and play themselves into a bit of form. Digne for Moreno on sixty minutes to ease Moreno back in gently.

Has Moreno played anything more than the 60 minutes with the U21s a few weeks ago?

I know we'll have to throw him back in at some point. I'm not sure starting in a must win game against a team like Legia is the time to do it though.

As usual - go strong - get it done - make necessary changes.

Keep in Martinez as whatever back line you have he is calming influence - hopefully he does not have too much to do

Hope that McGinn / Digne / Luis get some rest either the whole game or certainly no longer than needed

Win group - forget about it until Feb

The thing is a Digne booking at the weekend and Moreno might need to start against Man City. I'd want him to have at least half a game against a competitive side before facing up against Foden. From there I'd rather start him than bring him off the bench for this one because once the game is going it can be hard to stick to a planned sub.

After the almost inevitable delayed kick off for crowd trouble outside the ground, 2000 fans with 900 tickets. I reckon they’ll set up very defensively. Despite this, Villa to score first and then get a couple more. Legia to get one back when we switch off, 3-1.
