Morale boosting win and pisses all over the Tiny Totts parade.

What's not to like.

I'll cradle Unai in my arms and stroke his beautiful face and hair.

That first half was a serious test, they looked like they could score when they wanted and maybe on another day they run away with that. Second half was better, our midfield were more present and ultimately we've done incredibly to come from behind and win at a serious team. What a win that is.

Seems to be about a top four these days. A tough win away at a an able Spurs. Tielemans brings quality going forward and the second goal much involved and Watkins even got his footing together there. We didnt look ready first half as we often do in then beginning of games then came to our best selves late in first and more often in second half.

Tremendous performance. After a terrible first half we were much better in the second. A couple of great saves from Emi and a fantastic finish from Ollie.

Spurs huffed and puffed but never found the necessary quality.

Up to fourth. Villa march on but spuds fall over. Great stuff.

Super win. Emery making the necessary changes at half time.

Great to see Ramsey back. Timely with forthcoming suspensions.

This is a statement to the rest of the league. Aston Villa are the real deal.

I don't think it was a smash and grab. We didn't play well at times but scored twice, hit the post, had a very close offside, missed 2 or 3 good chances. 15 shots to their 18.

Showed real grit and dug in there, so many blocks and interceptions in our own box. Proud of the effort, the referee was hopeless but did eventually remember Villa players can be fouled too.

Brilliant result, and really incredible when you consider the performance for the first 44 minutes, which was as abject.  Top managers can change things, and the half-time changes worked really well.  Bailey was a great outlet ball, and Tielemans adding an extra body in the middle helped nullify the advantage they had in the first half, plus the no-look assist was pretty impressive too.  They had enough chances to win the game, definitely, and another day we'd lose that 4-3, but honestly, I couldn't care less.  a MASSIVE result in terms of our European credentials.  Take something off Man City and Arsenal and we could be looking at a very special season indeed...

As soon as we equalised there was only one way that game was going.  Onwards and upwards.

Rode our luck in the first half but Spurs weren't clinical. The timing of Pau's goal totally turned the game and we were always going to come out with more intensity in the second half after an undoubted Unai bollocking. Very good second half and in the end we got what we probably deserved. Bailey once again made a difference (Tielemens too) I felt and was a bit more direct and threatening, pushing their full back on the back foot.

It was looking like it might be one of those days but as per usual, Unai gets a response. Once we went 2-1 up I never felt worried we might let it slip. I fancied us to get a third, more than Spurs to equalise but a couple of good saves from Emi helped. I have to say, Big Emi was superb and I'm glad he got passed fit. I don't think we win a game like this without him, to be honest.

We absolutely can't be that slack against a team like Man City like we were first half today, because we'll find ourselves 3-4 down. That's the difference. It helped today that Son was really not at the races (especially as pre-Unai he loved playing us).

Well that has upset the Sky love in with Spurs
You could sense the disappointment in the commentator's voice

Apparently Tottenham had some injuries, not sure why nobody mentioned it.
