A lovely evocative post going back nicely in time.  I have a small enameled Prepared badge going back to my schooldays I believe.  I wonder if it's of the same ilk as John's?

I have every programme home and away for the games on our European Cup Run in 81-82. Including the two editions of the final programme.  Would love to know how much the set is worth.

I have a 1978 Aston Villa Jubilee club (head quarters at Aston Tavern) annual supper dance program. Along with the advert of the "Bowens Trophy" for player of the year there is a set menu. Advertised as being:

President - George Cummings
Vice presidents - Charles Aitkin, Johnny Dixon, Pongo Waring, Leslie Smith and Brian Hawthorn.

On the reverse is a space for attending players autographs - there are 10 of them.

I think they are:
Charlie Aitken
Dennis Mortimer
Alex Cropley
John Deehan
Frank Carradous are the ones i can make out.

Any collector interested send me a message and i can take some pictures and whatsapp them  - its not in the best of condition but still very presentable.

I am not old enough to have witnessed the decline of the club in the 60s like John but I do have every home programme from 1971/72, 1974/75, 1976/77 and 1980/81 which are the highlight years during our journey from the third division to league champions.

Great memories to go back to and also brilliant photographs by the great Terry Weir.

I have my brick from when Doug knocked the Trinity down. I'd have thrown it through the windscreen of his Roller if it had been in the car park at the time.
