I imagine Moreno might get 45 minutes against Legia as part of his return rather than playing on Sunday. That would help him get some first team minutes as well as managing Digne's game time.

Digne is actually on 4 yellows so Moreno will be starting a prem match at some point in next two weeks you suspect just out of necessity.

It's good him and Ramsey are back involved. They were magnificent down the left in the run in and we haven't had that combination out there for a single minute this season.

Given what we'll be putting in for the Man. City home game and then having Arsenal 70 hours later that's where having players like them returning is important to freshen up the team with quality.

Who's the lad with the dreadlocks? https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2023/november/24/gallery--villa-prepare-for-spurs/

The keeper next to Olsen looks like Jordan Pickford's brother!

Guessing at Seb Revan?

I thought Seb Revan had gone on loan.

Edit - on loan at Rotherham.

Start of a tough series of games, that will test us, to see if the squad is good enough to maintain a top 5 challenge

1-1 draw

Interesting that he's training with the first team squad.

Don't they all look happy and as one with each other.

Cannot wait to see how SUE sets us up (especially Watkins and Diaby) to exploit the lack of pace high line defending of Spurs.

First goal is cruicial - lots of the betting sites and pundits make us actual favourites  - which is a little worrying

So looking forward to this

Should be a cracking game. Both teams playing a high-line so let's see which keeper deals best with the 1-on-1's they are likely to face.

2-2.

We don't actually play that high a line in comparison with other teams (I read an article on this yesterday, we're 7th highest I think). Ours has been far more effective though, we've caught opponents offside 163 times and the next closest is in the 90s.

Nice one, had just gone off to find it. Glad I remebered the numbers right!
