Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa pre-match thread
«
on:

Sunday 26th November, 2pm kick-off.
May as well
A great chance here. Spurs have hit a bit of dodgy form and have some injuries and bans. We are getting stronger and stronger.
Win by one goal.

Not to sound overly dramatic but this game could define the rest of the season for both teams.
A win away from home against a team technically above us in the table would be a great result for us after some not great away performances. Given the run of games we have coming up it would be great to start with 3 points and moving up a spot in the table.
As for Spurs, they've had a good start, can't deny that. They've bought into whatever Ange is selling but they're possible without 8 players for this game. The fans were already getting rowdy when they lost to Wolves, so another loss, at home, could be the thing that knocks their whole season off. Not that I want to see that happen, of course.
Anyway, seems a pretty important game to get a result out of for both teams. I think we have the beating of them, and would have even without their injuries, but with them missing so many I'll be disappointed if we don't get a win.

Really looking forward to this game. 2 very good teams who like to play attacking football. I am sure if win it will be all about thier injuries whilst ours will not be mentioned.
If they lose it will be 3 on the bounce for "Ang ball" so let's see if they continue to blow up his arse.

I think we'll win as "Ange-Ball" is made for us, I just don't know by how many.

We need to put our slightly dodgy away form behind us and funeral Tottingham. Getting the set up right from the start would be good.

Looking at Spurs depleted team and dip in form, anything but a win will feel a bit disappointing

We could not beat Forest away and Spurs even with injuries will be a tougher challenge.

Tough as their players are better that Forests but they will not play the same way - look winnable

Spurs are a better team but the stats show that since they came back up, Forest don’t lose many at home.

If we go marching into Spurs with an
allegro
or even
presto
tempo while they are droning out their
lento
,
largo
dirge then we shall funeral them
andante
in A-Flat major.
