Hopefully we see a big reaction after last Sundays debacle .

It wasn't a debacle. What nonsense.

It is nonsense. No-one seems to mention that Forest were excellent.

Saying Forest were excellent is as much of a nonsense as calling it a debacle. They were poor, we were worse.
No they were not poor. You’re up a gum tree. They broke quickly and effectively and did their homework, stifling us. Their centre backs won everything. Two teams actually take to the pitch. No, they weren’t Man City ‘excellent’ but they were the best they could be, or very close to it.

They did exactly what they set out to do. They shit out the top scorers in the division whilst scoring twice themselves.

It may not have been attractive, but it was most certainly effective, and for that I'd say they did excellently.
Wow, your bar for excellent is ridiculously low. You'd be a great boss to work for

Oh Tim, you're nice but, well, yeah.

Seem to remember these lot coming to Villa Park last season and sitting very deep.  Expect more of the same tomorrow and a bit of a grind.

For what it's worth, I thought Forest started brightly but weren't great overall.  That second goal right after half time was a killer as it allowed them to play to their strengths.

We lost, it's gone, time to move on.

Forest played well, stop being a div.
Stop being a div , they really didn't , they were functional we gifted them 2 goals and fannyed about with the ball a lot .

OK, carry on being a div then, no skin off my nose.

It would be excellent to go into the break with a win, then come back with JJ and Moreno more likely to feature.

Massive game, hopefully we can start quickly as we have done many times to get that early, settling goal.

We'd have been hailing a performance like that if we'd beat say Man City playing the way Forest did last week.
We'll get beat occasionally. It's the way it is.

I'm actually more nervous about today than our next game, away at Spuds. Hopefully, it's just the pessimistic Villa fan of old in me, and today turns out to be a formality, but with the way results went yesterday, potentially allowing us to overtake Spurs when we face em, I'm worried we'll shoot ourselves in the foot like we did last week.

*and it's my birthday tomorrow, 48 years young, so don't fuck it up Villa!  UTV

There's a high chance of a clean sheet for Martinez
Fulham offer a very small threat going forward.
They are the joint lowest scorers with 9 goals in 11 matches.
3rd lowest for shots per game away from home.

Fulham are awful. Their defence goes missing a lot of time, and I think Villa could be in for a rout.
Another 3+ goals on the cards. I'll double it for a 6-0
Scorers:
Watkins or Diaby Hat Trick.
The other with a brace
Luiz with a Penalty.

That's quite a tasty prediction this week, FV. Looking forward to seeing if your studying and research has proven fruitful again.

I think we will win but not quite 6-0.

Either way, FTF  8)
The pattern goes 4, 3, 6 .

4 v Everton
3 v Palace
6 v Brighton
4 v West Ham
3 v Luton
?6 v Fulham
And 13 home wins !!!
